Louis van Gaal still eyeing Manchester United improvement

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is adamant that he still wants to see more from his team after being left unsatisfied with the manner of their 3-0 win over Liverpool.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has admitted that he wasn't surprised by his side's victory over Liverpool last week.

The Red Devils won for the sixth time in a row in the Premier League with their 3-0 win over Brendan Rodgers's men, but Van Gaal is adamant that there is more to come from his team this season.

He told reporters: "I don't think that one game had a big influence until now because, okay, the results are very good, but we can improve the performances as a team.

"I am always speaking about the team. And I think that the team can improve its self still more and I don't think that it was a great surprise that we won against Liverpool neither for the players."

United are third in the table going into their match against Aston Villa later today.
