Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Ivan Toney from Brentford.
The forward has scored 53 goals and registered 19 assists in 99 appearances for Brentford, and his performances have led to an England call-up and interest from other clubs.
According to The Sun, United are believed to be one of the sides considering a move for Toney as they look at potential replacements for Cristiano Ronaldo.
With the Portugal international still believed to be keen on leaving Old Trafford, United are monitoring Toney's situation.
Although the 26-year-old is under contract with the Bees until 2025, he is currently being linked with a move away in the January transfer window.
Brentford are preparing a £100,000 a week contract offer to persuade Toney to stay, but as well as being a target for United, the striker is also attracting interest from Leeds United, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
