Manchester United have reportedly made an offer in excess of £35m for Lyon forward Moussa Dembele.
Dembele, 22, has found the back of the net on 20 occasions in 45 appearances for Les Gones this season.
Earlier this month, it was reported that United were considering a move for the attacker, who struck 51 times in 94 appearances for Celtic ahead of a switch to France.
According to Goal.com, the Red Devils have now made an official offer in excess of £35m as they attempt to land the former France Under-21 international in this summer's transfer window.
Should Dembele arrive at Old Trafford then it could signal the end of Romelu Lukaku's career at the club.
The Belgium international only managed 15 goals for the Red Devils during the 2018-19 campaign and Inter Milan continue to be linked with his services.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are also said to be refusing to give up on Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt despite Barcelona widely being considered as the favourites to sign the 19-year-old.
