Manchester United have submitted a £28.6m bid to Real Madrid for defender Sergio Ramos, according to a report.
The 29-year-old recently emerged as a transfer target for the Red Devils following speculation that he is unhappy at the Bernabeu.
According to Sky Sports News, Real are unwilling to sell the Spain international but have reportedly agreed to let him go for the right price, though it is unclear if United's bid will be sufficient.
Ramos, who has two years left on his contract, is said to also be on the radar of Manchester City.
