Report: Manchester United want Carlos Bacca

A report claims that Manchester United want to sign Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca this summer.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is reportedly desperate to bring Sevilla's Carlos Bacca to Old Trafford this summer.

The Colombian international joined Sevilla from Club Brugge in 2013 and has netted 49 goals in just over 100 games for the Spanish outfit.

The 28-year-old scored 20 league goals during the 2014-15 season and also hit seven in the Europa League – including a brace in the final against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

According to The Metro, Van Gaal is a keen admirer of Bacca and will attempt to bring the forward to Manchester this summer.

Man United are believed to be in the market for a new striker after sending Radamel Falcao back to Monaco. Robin van Persie's future, meanwhile, remains unclear.
