Sports director Adalberto Baptista has denied that Manchester City have joined Manchester United in the competition for Lucas Moura's signature.
Although Baptista denied interest from Manchester City, he confirmed that the club have turned down an offer of €32m (£25m) for the highly-rated youngster,
"Interest from Manchester City? We are not aware of it and we have not had contact with them," Baptista told Calciomercato.it.
Baptista also denied reports Inter Milan have made a €25m offer for the starlet, while adding that would not be enough to secure his signature, insisting that it could take €70m to prise him away.
Baptista also denied that Inter Milan had tabled an official offer for 19-year-old Moura.
"An offer of €25m for Lucas from Inter Milan? We have not received written offers from Inter and that figure should not be enough, since we have already refused an official offer of €32m for our player," he said.
Moura is currently in London on Olympic duty with Brazil.
