Aitor Karanka has urged his Middlesbrough side to forget about their heroics at Manchester City and focus on winning promotion to the Premier League.
Karanka's side defied the odds by beating the Premier League champions 2-0 on Saturday to book their place in the fifth round of the competition.
However, Boro sit second in the Championship, with only goal difference separating them from a spot in the playoff positions, and the Spaniard insisted that their league ambitions remain the priority.
"My thoughts are on Brentford next Saturday," he told the Daily Mail. "Our first objective is to get promotion and the Championship is very tough. We have to forget today."
Second-half goals from Chelsea loanee Patrick Bamford and Kike settled Saturday's affair at the Etihad Stadium.
