Bobby Moore's son Dean was discovered dead at his London home yesterday.
The 43-year-old was found by paramedics around lunchtime after a concerned family member alerted medical services.
A spokesperson for the Met told The Sun: "We are treating the death as unexplained. There are no suspicious circumstances."
The exact cause of death is expected in a few weeks when tests are completed.
Speaking to the newspaper, a source added: "Dean had a medical condition. It appears to be a tragic death at an early age from natural causes."
Dean is survived by his mother Tina, widow of the late England captain, and sister Roberta. He also has a daughter.
