Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoichkov has been named as the new manager of CSKA Sofia.
The 47-year-old, who replaces Milen Radukanov, had a six-year spell at the club as a player before joining Barcelona in 1990.
The former striker returned to Sofia for a brief stint in 1998 ahead of his retirement five years later.
"I can promise supporters with me there will be discipline," Stoichkov told reporters. "It will be harder for the players during the week - they will have to give their everything during training - not just in games. You know I'm a perfectionist."
CSKA finished last season in third place in the Bulgarian top flight.
