Ryan Bennett has said that Norwich City's 2-1 win over Reading was an important result for the club.
The victory moved the Canaries, who sit 13th in the Premier League table, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
The 23-year-old told the club's official website: "It should have been more comfortable, but we got the result and that's all that matters. We got the points and that's all that goes on the table. It's what we needed and we've done it.
"It's hard when you're playing a game of 90 minutes, the other team are going to have spells and it's about how you deal with them. I thought we dealt with it quite well.
"At this stage of the season, and with teams around us doing well and so forth, it was an important result. We've just got to keep on looking forward."
Bennett scored the first of Norwich's goals yesterday.
