Brentford have reportedly rejected an offer from Rangers for midfielder Toumani Diagouraga.
Current Gers boss Mark Warburton worked with the 28-year-old during his time in charge at Griffin Park.
However, Warburton's hopes of a reunion have been rebuffed after a £100,000 bid was turned down by the English Championship club, according to The Scottish Sun.
The report adds that the Scottish outfit are likely to submit an improved proposal over the coming days.
It is believed that Brentford value the Paris-born player at around £750,000.
