Interim manager Stuart Gray has revealed that Sheffield Wednesday would like to extend Roger Johnson's loan spell with the club.
The centre-back has made 13 appearances for the Championship outfit since he joined them on a temporary basis from Wolverhampton Wanderers in September.
That deal is due to expire in January, but Wednesday are keen for the 30-year-old to remain at Hillsborough.
"We're trying to have a bit of dialogue with Wolves and trying to extend his loan, but he's not our player. That will be down to Wolves and you never know what's going to happen in football. I think Roger is enjoying his spell. He hadn't played much football," the Express & Star quotes Gray as saying.
Johnson joined Wolves from Birmingham City in the summer of 2011.
