How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against West Ham United

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Sunday's London derby with West Ham United in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur are back in action for the first time since their remarkable 6-1 win over Manchester United as they take on West Ham United in a London derby.

Spurs have gone seven games without defeat and have won five of those, including a run of three victories on the spin in three different competitions.

Next up is the visit of rivals West Ham, who are themselves in good form after easing to victories against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City before the two-week break.

Ahead of the match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Sports Mole looks at how Spurs could line up.

The majority of Jose Mourinho's squad spent the two weeks between the Man Utd game and this one taking part in international fixtures across the globe.

The good news for Mourinho is that Eric Dier the only player to have reported back with any sort of real issue, having sat out England's defeat to Denmark with a hamstring injury.

That could mean a return for Toby Alderweireld in an otherwise unchanged back four, although Matt Doherty and Ben Davies will also be pushing for inclusion at full-back.

Harry Winks played no part in the win at Old Trafford but is another in contention to return to the side for this one, possibly in place of Moussa Sissoko.

Up top, Mourinho confirmed on Friday that Gareth Bale is in contention to make his second debut for the club after spending the past few weeks building up his fitness.

However, with Erik Lamela, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane performing so well against United, it may well be a case of the Welshman having to settle for a place among the subs.
