Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Federico Fazio from Sevilla on a four-year deal.
It had been reported earlier on Wednesday that the Argentine was close to penning a long-term contract at White Hart Lane, and after the sale of Michael Dawson to Hull City, Spurs have announced that they have sealed a deal for the 27-year-old.
After joining the club in 2007, Fazio went on to make 194 appearances for the La Liga side as well as helping them win the Europa League last season.
The centre-back could feature when Spurs host Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
