Tottenham Hotspur defender Federico Fazio has joined Serie A side Roma on a season-long loan, with the option to make the move permanent.
The 29-year-old Argentina international joined Spurs in 2014 but has only made 20 appearances at the club, spending the second half of the 2015-16 season on loan at one of his former clubs, Sevilla.
Fazio told the official Giallorossi site: "I am very happy to join a great team like Roma. I really want to start training and get to know my new teammates and coach."
The loan, which ends on June 30 next year, is for a fixed fee of around £1m, while the player's permanent signing would cost Roma around £2.7m.
