Former England goalkeeper David James has confirmed that he has agreed to sign for Icelandic club IBV.
The 42-year-old, who has been without a club since he was released by League One outfit Bournemouth last month, will also take on a coaching role alongside his former Portsmouth teammate Hermann Hreidarsson.
"I am going to sign for #ibv in Iceland today. My role is as player/coach, alongside Herman. We are both very excited about the journey ahead," he wrote on the social networking site Twitter.
The Icelandic league season will get underway on Sunday, May 5.
