Saido Berahino has reported back to West Bromwich Albion training after he failed to secure a move to Tottenham Hotspur in this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old striker suggested that he would never play for Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace again in a Twitter post on transfer deadline day after the club rejected a series of offers from Spurs.
However, after Albion head coach Tony Pulis confirmed that he intended to include Berahino in his plans this season, the England international returned to training on Monday after being given a week off.
According to PA, the England Under-21s striker has hinted that he is prepared to pull on the West Brom shirt again for the clash with Southampton on Saturday after reporting for training along with the other members of the squad who are not on international duty.
Berahino has scored 29 goals in 87 games for the Baggies after making his debut for the club two years ago, but he has not featured for the side since August 15.
