West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has said that he is hopeful of trialist Marouane Chamakh reaching full fitness within a month.
Chamakh has been training with the Baggies since being made a free agent as a result of his release from Crystal Palace in the summer, but Pulis has indicated that he is still to make a final decision on whether to sign the Moroccan forward.
The 58-year-old told the Express & Star: "Chamakh has got real quality in that 10 position and he can score goals but we will see.
"It would be lovely to think that in a month's time he could be at the level he was at Palace. If he was at that level he would certainly be pushing people to play."
Pulis previously worked with Chamakh during his time at Selhurst Park.
