West Ham United want Azubuike Egwuekwe?

Reports in Nigeria claim that West Ham United want to sign Warri Wolves defender Azubuike Egwuekwe.

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Nigerian defender Azubuike Egwuekwe, who currently represents Warri Wolves in his home country.

The 25-year-old has claimed that he has an offer from the Premier League, and reports in Nigeria have identified West Ham as the club in question.

"Offers are coming from overseas," talkSPORT quotes the defender as saying.

"I have an offer from an Premier League club, the [English] Championship and from Russia. I am still a Warri Wolves, but at the end of this month, I hope to say bye bye to Warri Wolves."

The tall defender has gained 33 caps for his country.
