Reece Oxford has reportedly edged near to penning a new five-year contract with West Ham United.
Since making a huge impression on his first-team debut against Arsenal in August 2015, Oxford has been attracting interest from numerous clubs in the Premier League and during the summer, it appeared that he would depart the Hammers.
However, according to The Sun, the club will be in a position to announce that the England Under-20 international has committed his long-term future to the club by the end of November.
The 17-year-old has made 14 senior appearances for the East London outfit but he has not featured for the first team since the first leg of their Europa League clash with Astra Giurgiu on August 18.
