Bath scrum-half Chris Cook signs contract extension

Bath scrum-half Chris Cook pens a new contract with the Aviva Premiership club.

Bath scrum-half Chris Cook has signed a contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.

The 23-year-old has impressed at the Recreation Ground this season after spending most of the 2013-14 campaign on loan at London Welsh.

Cook, who graduated from Bath's academy, has started 16 of the team's games this term.

"This is the best place for me to keep developing, with the focus very much on helping young players such as myself to continue improving," he told the club's website. "There is still a lot of potential to be realised in the squad, and I'm looking forward to being part of it."

Bath are back in action on Saturday when they host Ospreys in the LV= Cup.
