A late Rob Miller try has earned Sale Sharks a 16-9 victory over Bath at Edgeley Park.
The hosts were temporarily reduced to 10 men after 19 minutes when Andrew Sheridan was sent to the sin bin.
Bath took advantage as Olly Barkley kicked over a penalty to give his side a 3-0 lead.
However, two quick penalties from Macleod put Sale 6-3 ahead at the break.
Barkley kicked over again 15 minutes into the second half, before another penalty just after the hour drew Bath level.
Sale managed to secure the win in the final 10 minutes when Rob Miller's try was given by the video referee. Macleod kicked over the extras to earn the narrow victory.
