Andy Murray is left frustrated by not taking his chances during Wednesday's quarter-final defeat to David Ferrer at the French Open.

Andy Murray was left to rue a number of missed chances following his defeat to David Ferrer in the fourth round of the French Open on Wednesday evening.

The world number four failed to capitalise on a handful of break points against the ruthless Spaniard, who went on to win in four sets.

"I thought I played some good tennis tonight, but I just didn't convert [my chances]," Murray told reporters.

"I had chances to break him but I didn't convert them and he did."

Ferrer's reward for beating Murray is a semi-final encounter with fellow countryman Rafael Nadal.
