No place in Argentina's World Cup squad for Carlos Tevez

Juventus striker Carlos Tevez misses out on a place in Argentina's 30-man provisional squad for this summer's World Cup.

Carlos Tevez has been left out of Argentina's 30-man provisional squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

The Juventus striker scored 19 goals in Serie A this season, but Werder Bremen forward Franco di Santo gets the spot in Alejandro Sabella's side.

Manchester City's Sergio Aguero, Barcelona striker Lionel Messi and Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain are among the other forwards named in the squad.

Aguero's club teammates Pablo Zabaleta and Martin Demichelis are also included, while Angel di Maria and Javier Mascherano feature among the midfielders.
