Sports Mole's countdown of Arsene Wenger's top 10 signings from his Arsenal career continues with number one - Thierry Henry.

Undoubtedly the greatest of Wenger's signings across his 22 years at the club, Thierry Henry epitomised everything that was great about Arsenal at the peak of their powers.

Having struggled for form in Italy with Juventus, Henry was transformed into a player widely considered to be the greatest Premier League striker of them all.

A total of 226 goals, 174 of those coming in the top flight, it is fair to say that Wenger got his money's worth when splashing out an estimated £11m to sign his compatriot.

Henry went on to win even more major honours during his time at Barcelona before seeing out his career at New York Red Bulls - via a short loan stint back in North London - but it is with Arsenal that Henry's goalscoring prowess is best remembered.
