Juventus are reportedly very unlikely to complete a deadline-day move for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi.
The Old Lady have already splashed out £77m on Matthis de Ligt this summer, but a severe injury to captain Giorgio Chiellini has necessitated a fresh pursuit for a defender.
Mustafi was among the options being looked at by the Serie A champions as they seek to strike a quick deal, with Dejan Lovren also reportedly on the list of candidates.
However, according to Sky Sports News, any deal for the Germany international is said to be very unlikely as the clock ticks down to the transfer deadline.
While the English transfer window closed on August 8, Serie A clubs have until 7pm BST to complete any deadline-day signings.
Mustafi's place in the Arsenal starting XI has been placed under threat in recent times by a series of costly mistakes and the arrival of David Luiz from Chelsea.
