Guido Carrillo thrilled by Monaco switch

Argentine forward Guido Carrillo admits that he is "very happy" to have joined Monaco from Estudiantes.

Argentine forward Guido Carrillo has admitted that he is "very happy" with his move to Monaco.

The 24-year-old recently penned a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 side after leaving Estudiantes.

Carrillo scored 36 goals in 131 games for Estudiantes during a four-year spell with the club.

"I'm very happy with my decision," he told Monaco's official website. "I had known about Monaco's interest in me for a while and what I knew about the team and about Monaco particularly motivated me to come here."

Guido is yet to represent Argentina at either junior or senior level.
