Monaco's record signing Radamel Falcao has revealed that the ambition of the French club to compete at the top was what convinced him to join.
Falcao joined Monaco for around £50m last week and the player has said that he wants to win everything possible with the club.
"I'm very pleased by the vote of confidence Monaco gave in signing me; I was completely convinced by their very exciting plans for the future," Ligue1.com quotes Falcao as saying.
"We're all aiming to install Monaco in the elite of European football."
Falcao scored 52 La Liga goals in 67 games for previous side Atletico Madrid.
