Burnley boss Sean Dyche has backed new signing Andre Gray to be a success at the club.
The striker, 24, joined the Clarets for a reported record fee of £9m from Brentford on Friday.
Gray scored 18 goals for the Bees last season, and Dyche is expecting the forward to continue that kind of form at Turf Moor.
"He has worked very, very hard to get to the level he's at," he told the club's official website. "He has risen up the ladder and, in many ways, had a similar pathway to two former strikers here, Danny Ings and Charlie Austin.
"In that respect there is a rawness, a hunger and a great desire from him to continue his education and go even further, and we intend that to be with us in the immediacy and also in the future."
Burnley play Gray's former club Brentford at home in the Championship later today.
