AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien believes that Chelsea can establish themselves as the dominant Premier League force for the next decade.
The Ghanaian left Stamford Bridge for AC Milan in January after nine years at the club, and the ex-Blues star has tipped Jose Mourinho's men for a sustained period of success.
He told FIFA.com: "They have the ability to win things and that's what they'll be doing.
"Chelsea have become a football force in Europe in the last 10 years and I can see that carrying on for the next 10 years or more.
"I think they'll do well as always. Jose has rebuilt the team in his own image now and they'll fight for everything this season."
Mourinho's side are currently top of the division after taking 13 points from their first five games.
