Eden Hazard believes that the current Chelsea team is better than the side that won the Premier League under Jose Mourinho in 2015.

Eden Hazard has claimed that the current Chelsea team is better than the side that won the Premier League in 2015.

Antonio Conte's men sit six points clear at the top of the table and will aim to make it 13 wins in a row on Saturday when they face Stoke City.

The Blues won the title two seasons ago under Jose Mourinho by eight points with Hazard playing a starring role, winning the PFA Player of the Year award in the process.

When asked by Sky Sports News if the current Chelsea team is the best that he has played in, the Belgian replied: "Yes because we win every game! We are full of confidence. We try to do something that we didn't do in the past. We score some goals.

"We feel good. We take game after game and try to win every game. We don't look at records but if we can make history in this club we will. It's not only about Chelsea, this league.

"This league is very difficult. Every game we try to win. But now the opponents try to give everything because they want to be first. Now we are first and everyone wants to beat us."

Chelsea are just two wins away from setting a Premier League record for successive games won.
