Crystal Palace have held talks with Bamba Dieng's representatives, according to a report.
The Eagles have been searching for a striker throughout this transfer market, with links between them and Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah having taken place during January.
But the attention has now shifted to the 21-year-old who plays in Ligue 1, with Patrick Vieira's club taking a look at other options to fill this gap.
According to the Express, conversations between Crystal Palace and Dieng's representatives have begun over a potential move this month, which would see him swap Marseille for London.
The French outfit would be willing to listen to offers for the forward in the region of £10m, but the Eagles are not the only club looking to sign him, with Burnley and Newcastle United also interested.
Right now, Dieng is competing in the Africa Cup Of Nations with his international side, Senegal, and they will face Equatorial Guinea in the quarter-finals this weekend.
