Huddersfield Town are reportedly on the verge of finalising a deal which will see them sign Derby County striker Theo Robinson on loan until the end of the season.

Huddersfield Town are reportedly close to finalising a loan deal to sign Derby County striker Theo Robinson.

The 24-year-old has scored nine goals for the Rams this season, but he has yet to start a Championship match this calendar year.

According to Sky Sports News, Huddersfield boss Mark Robins is planning to bolster his attacking options and hopes to sign Robinson until the end of the season.

Robinson, who is understood to be keen on a short-term move away from Pride Park, has just four months remaining on his current Derby contract.
