England coach Fabio Capello has said that he was relieved to avoid Group B during the Euro 2012 group stage draw.
The Three Lions were handed a "well-balanced" group according to Capello, who will lead his side against France, Ukraine and Sweden in Group D.
Meanwhile, the Italian – who said that he would like to avoid the Spanish, Dutch and German national teams earlier this week – has admitted fearing for a moment that his team might be drawn in the so-called "Group of Death", which eventually comprised Germany, Holland, Portugal and Denmark .
"There was a terrible moment while I waited because Group B was really strong," he said. "When we passed that group, I was happy.
"Maybe we could have got Group A, with Poland, Greece and the Czech Republic, but I'm happy.
"Of course, it will not be easy. It is a well-balanced group but also teams we know well. We played Ukraine in qualification for the World Cup and have played friendlies against Sweden and France."
England will begin their tournament against Les Bleus in Donetsk on June 11.
