David Moyes believes that Phil Neville still has plenty to offer Everton.
The 35-year-old has been widely tipped to take on a coaching role at the end of the season.
However, Moyes has insisted that the former Manchester United utility player is still in his plans for the next season.
"I think Phil still sees himself as a player and he's played as well as anyone at Everton this year," said Moyes. "Players respect him because of his level of professionalism and because he has 59 caps for England.
"He still wants to play. He's a knowledgeable guy and understands what it takes for players to win."
Some reports have claimed that new England manager Roy Hodgson is hoping to make Neville a part of his coaching team.
