Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin has reportedly been charged with drink driving.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for his club this season and won his first cap for Italy in their friendly against Albania earlier this week.
However, according to Corriere Mercantile, he was stopped by police on Saturday evening, while driving his Volkswagon Golf near Genoa.
He then tested positive on an alcohol breath test and was charged, with his car being placed in a friend's care.
Genoa are in action against Palermo on Monday evening, but it remains to be seen whether Perin will play a part in that match.
