Ipswich Town midfielder Jay Tabb believes that the club have a "good chance" of promotion to the Premier League if they listen to manager Mick McCarthy.
McCarthy has previously guided Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Championship title before keeping them in the top flight for two seasons, and Tabb has admitted that he is impressed with the squad that his new boss is putting together at Portman Road.
The 29-year-old told BBC Radio Suffolk: "I've still got aspirations of playing in the Premier League again, and I plan on doing it with Ipswich.
"It's the place to be and there are a lot of good players at Ipswich who deserve to be there.
"As a squad we can be confident that if we do what the gaffer tells us we'll have a good chance."
Tabb signed for Ipswich on a permanent basis earlier this month, after previously playing for the Tractor Boys on loan last season.
