Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has admitted that he is interested in securing a permanent deal for Robert Huth.
The German defender joined the club on loan from Stoke City in the January transfer window to boost their bid to avoid relegation, and Pearson has suggested that the Foxes will be making an offer to the Potters this summer.
"Basically the answer is yes," Pearson responded to reporters when asked if he would like Huth to stay permanently. "But I don't want to get into that sort of discussion when, firstly, I've not spoken to his parent club Stoke.
"I've not spoken to Mark [Hughes] about that and it's not right for me to talk in the public domain without the relevant parties being involved in that conversation.
"Certainly he has done very well for us, I think you can get an answer from that. I'm really pleased that we were able to bring him in when we did."
Leicester take on Sunderland in a vital fixture in the battle against relegation on Saturday.
