Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish says that his side's lack of finishing cost them again as they lose 1-0 at home to West Brom.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish claimed that it was his side's inability to finish in front of goal that cost them again as they went down 1-0 defeat at home to West Bromwich Albion.

Despite a number of opportunities for the Merseysiders, they were hit with the suckerpunch in the 75th minute when Peter Odemwingie struck.

"It's not the first time we've stood here and said exactly the same things," Dalglish told BBC Sport. "It has been the same theme, hitting the crossbar, people clearing it off the line, us missing chances or hitting our own players.

"They are playing well enough so I can't complain about their effort or spirit. It's difficult for them to take but it's great credit that it doesn't seem to be knocking them down."

The Reds have slipped down to eighth in the Premier League table after the loss.
