Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has urged Adrien Rabiot to stay at the club beyond the end of his current contract.
Rabiot's deal at the Parc des Princes is due to expire at the end of the season, and speculation over his future has continued to grow with talks regarding an extension so far proving fruitless.
The likes of Liverpool, Barcelona and Manchester City have all been linked with the 23-year-old, but Tuchel is hopeful that he will remain in the French capital.
"I love working with Adrien. He had a difficult situation when he missed the World Cup but his effort has been at a maximum," Tuchel told RMC.
"He has great potential after being trained at this club. He is essential for our approach. It is very important to have footballers of this nature."
Rabiot joined PSG as a youth player in 2010 and has since gone on to make more than 200 first-team appearances for the club.
