Porto striker Jackson Martinez has insisted that he has not extended his stay at the Portuguese club.
Martinez has been linked with a summer move to Napoli and Liverpool, but while he has revealed that he does not wish to force a move away from the club, he has rejected claims that he has signed a new contract.
The 26-year-old told A Bola: "I don't want to force my departure from Porto. In fact, I really hope not to.
"Today, the question I have is whether I extend my contract or go elsewhere. Apart from that, there is nothing else to say.
"The problem is that I hear things that are not true. The press reported that I had agreed a new contract until 2018. I hadn't even started to think about it because nobody at Porto had called me to talk about it."
The Colombian striker netted 34 goals in 43 games during his debut season with Porto.
