Daley Blind vows to "come back stronger" from knee injury

Daley Blind says that he will "come back stronger" from a knee injury for Manchester United and the Netherlands.

Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind has expressed his determination to "come back stronger" from the knee injury that he suffered while on international duty with the Netherlands.

The 24-year-old was forced to limp off during the first half of his nation's 6-0 victory over Latvia in Amsterdam last night.

Although there has been no official confirmation as to how long Blind will be sidelined for, initial reports have suggested that he could be out of action for up to six weeks.

However, despite having admitted that he is "gutted", the summer signing from Ajax has already turned his attention to making a positive return.

Blind has scored one goal in his eight Premier League appearances this term.
