Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has insisted that Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas would "improve" the team.
The Red Devils are said to be prepared to offer a club-record third bid for the Spain international, amounting to just over £30m.
"He would be a great signing and would help us to improve," The Express quotes De Gea as saying.
Despite United's apparent determination to secure Fabregas's signature, the former Arsenal captain is believed to be keen on staying at Camp Nou.
