Real Madrid have warned Manchester United that they will have to part with goalkeeper David de Gea if they want to sign Gareth Bale, according to a report.
Louis van Gaal's side are said to be lining up a £100m bid for the Wales international in the hope of taking him to Old Trafford, after missing out on his signature last year.
However, Real are poised to challenge United's desire to secure the deal by demanding De Gea as part of any agreement that would take Bale to the Red Devils, as the club see him as a long-term successor to Iker Casillas, claims The Mirror.
Van Gaal refused to comment on speculation that he was interested in signing Bale earlier this week.
