West Ham United have made a new enquiry for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to reports.
The Mexican spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and was told that he has no future at Old Trafford by manager Louis van Gaal.
However, he was an unused substitute against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and Van Gaal has hinted that he could play a part this season.
The Daily Mail claims that United are closing on Barcelona winger Pedro though, leaving West Ham clear to make a £12m bid for Hernandez.
The 27-year-old joined United from Guadalajara in 2010.
