Marek Hamsik has moved to end speculation regarding his future with Napoli by agreeing a new deal with the Italian club.
The Slovakian international had been heavily linked with a move away from the San Paolo, with Manchester City and Chelsea credited with an interest in his services.
However, the 24-year-old midfielder has revealed that only a signature is required to finalise his Napoli extension.
"Everything is agreed, all that is missing is the signature," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
Hamsik joined the Naples-based club from Brescia in 2007.
