Newcastle United have added Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to a list of potential targets for the January transfer window, according to reports.
Despite seeing his team enjoy an impressive run of form in recent weeks, Magpies boss Alan Pardew is believed to be keen to bring in new recruits in January, and the club have been linked with a number of forwards.
According to The Mirror, Mitrovic has emerged as a possible candidate to compete with the likes of Ayoze Perez and Papiss Cisse for a spot in attack.
The 20-year-old, who stole the headlines with a late equaliser against Arsenal in the Champions League last week, has scored 23 goals in 47 league appearances since joining Anderlecht in 2011.
