Hundreds of Northampton Town fans have donned wigs and headbands for their visit of Mansfield Town this afternoon to mark "John-Joe O'Toole Day".
The 26-year-old midfielder, recognisable for his long hair and trademark headband, joined the Cobblers in the summer from Bristol Rovers.
Following an indifferent start, he was loaned out to Southend United at the end of last year, but his return to Chris Wilder's side has coincided with a run of five straight wins in League Two.
As a result, Northampton fan Dan Pearce suggested to his friends the idea of wearing wigs in honour of O'Toole for Saturday's game, and it soon went viral.
