French club Rennes have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are in negotiations to sign Yann M'Vila.
The Les Bleus international has been linked with a move to North London rivals Arsenal for most of the summer, but it now seems that Spurs are in the driving seat to land the 22-year-old's services.
"Yes, we are dealing with Tottenham, the offer is still a bit low, but we are confident," a spokesperson for the French club told Italian website Calciomercato.
It is thought that Rennes are holding out for a fee in the region of £17m for M'Vila.
Spurs have already signed Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen this summer.
