Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross has called on manager Mark Hughes to dip into the transfer window in the summer in order to help push the club even further.
The Potters are currently 10th in the Premier League table on 47 points with three games left to play.
"Hopefully the manager will have some money to improve the squad as you need to keep doing that in the Premier League," The Sentinel quotes Shawcross as saying.
"If we can do that, and get a bit more of a regular, balanced side then there's no reason why we can't have another good year."
Stoke will face Tottenham Hotspur at the Britannia stadium on Saturday.
